How to help Davis?

A spinal cord injury is one of the main causes of paralysis at the clinic for dogs. This disturbance initiate a sequence of vascular, biochemist and inflammatory events that result in the development of secondary tissue injuries leading to the progressive destruction of the neural tissues. The consequences of such injuries are disastrous. The animal often irreversibly losses all motive functions and sensory skills.To correct the lesion Davis has to undergo a dorsal laminectomy performed by a neurosurgeon. Right now he limps, he has lost strength and sensitivity on its hind legs, makes a lot of effort to get up, often refuses to do so in the morning or when it's time to eat.He's in pain and takes pills every day to control it. Without the operation he will eventually stop walking and finally, when it is not possible to control the pain, we will have no choice but to put him to sleep. This is what we want to avoid at all costs.Surgery costs between 1400-1800 euros(1800- 2400 USD) and we simply can't pay all of it! We need your help, Davis needs your help!
